Roots Half Hidden is a website dedicated to reviewing books, television shows, and movies. Generally, the website will focus on speculative fiction, especially fantasy and science fiction, but others genres are covered from time to time.
You can also expect the occasional examination of an aspect of the genres. These essays help identify trends within certain genres, as well as examining the way tropes are used within genres.
Updates will come, for the most part, once a week. Sometimes I’ll see a few movies or finish a couple books in a single week, but generally you can expect weekly reviews.
